 For A870L ONLY!!! Warning, one user (see comment below) reported that LTE 2100 is not working after flashing this ROM.

• Based on latest stock Kitkat firmware S1235210
• Removed 80-char SMS limitation, now unlimited, undivided SMS
• Korean apps removed
• Vega Iron 2 A910 music player
• Removed Korean characters in dial-pad
• System optimization

How to flash:
- First, flash this Recovery via your current recovery
- Do a full backup – I am not responsible for the damages, data loss to your phone!
- Do factory reset, wipe cache, wipe battery stats
- Flash this file via your new recovery A870L Stock KitKat fix

[A870] CWM Philz Touch Recovery 6.50.2 for stock KitKat firmware

Congratulations, your VEGA Iron is now powered by the latest Android KitKat
The next step, which is very important to backup your phone and flash any other modified ROM, is to find a Recovery for your Iron.
Luckily someone was kind enough to make a CWM recovery for A870 all versions (S/L/K), which is promised to be stable with KitKat, and moreover, this is a touch-enabled recovery.

And flash via your current recovery. If you haven’t got any recovery yet, follow the instruction here to install, and then flash the file above immediately after you can boot into recovery.
The CWM Philz Touch Recovery 6.50.2 can also be used with A870S/L/K running JellyBean. After that, if you want to upgrade to KitKat using zip file, please follow the instruction in the previous post

How to flash
- Unzip, copy the clockworkmod folder to SD card
- Boot into recovery , do  wipe data/factory reset, wipe davik cache, wipe battery stats
- Still in Recovery, go to backup and restore, choose Restore then choose the folder you've unzipped. Choose "Yes"

Prerequisites

How-to install Recovery
1) Normal Recovery
- Enable USB-debugging: "Settings/Developer options" and choose "USB debugging"
- Connect your device to PC using USB cable, wait until the drivers are installed successfully.
- Unrar  the  recovery_sky_A870.rar downloaded above, then run Recovery tu ADB.bat
2) Via Fastboot
- Completely turn off your phone
- Press both Volume UP + Volume DOWN, then press Power, you are now into Bootloader
- Using Volume UP and DOWN to choose Fastboot
- Connect your device to PC using USB cable, wait until the drivers are installed successfully.
- Unrar the recovery_sky_A870.rar downloaded above, then run Recovery tu fastboot.bat

How to ROOT

- Flash this zip file via Recovery

[ROM][A870] International version S-L-K

Pantech VEGA Iron A870 modified ROM based latest international version (March 2014)

1. Changelog:
- Multi-languague, 1000-character sms (stock sms), forget the 80-char sms limit!!!
- Battery life, wifi, signal reception optimization
- Add greenify for full deep-sleep
- Change home icon


2. How to flash

- Using CWM 6.0.28 to restore
- Download the zip file, put into clockworkmod/backup in SDcard
- Reboot into recovery, go to mounts and storage

--> format 3 items: system, data, cache
--> go backup --> backup and restore
--> restore from external_sd (or SD card)
Choose the Backup ROM --> Yes

For S/L version, better restore 2 times. If the first time fails (stuck at logo...), no problems, just remove the battery, flash again
